Workshop Hosts
Additional tickets will be needed for Hook Personalizing and the Macrame Wall Hanging workshops. They are both an additional cost. The additional fee is due to supply costs needed for the workshops. All workshops are 100% optional, that is why we keep ticket prices for our “hands on” workshops separate.
You will need to buy all workshop tickets at the SAME TIME as your Retreat ticket!
Hook Personalizing tickets will be $16 USD – This will include 2 pre-made all white clay hooks. One in Becki’s style, and one in Angie’s style. They leave them all white for us to paint our masterpieces! 🙂 When purchasing your Hook Personalizing ticket, you will get to choose the size and brand of your hooks. The options are Susan Bates or Boye, sizes F (3.75 mm)- K (6.5 mm).

Macrame Wall Hanging tickets will be $15 USD – This will include your dowel rod and all the macrame rope needed to complete a wall hanging. You will get to choose from Natural, Mustard, or Blue colored rope! Sarah will teach us step by step how to create it 😉

General Questions about all Retreats
Who can come to this event?
This event is open to any female maker! We are a group of crocheters and knitters who love to play with yarn and hang out with fellow crafters!
You DO NOT need to be a crafty business owner to attend.
This is NOT invite only. It is open to makers at every level 😉
*Due to very mixed feedback on allowing all sexes to this overnight retreat, we will remain female only.*
What is "The Makers Retreat"?
It is a weekend long sleepover, basically! We spend 2 nights under the same roof, working on projects, chatting with fellow makers, and attending workshops! Each Retreat the workshops do change, but typically we have 2 talking workshops where people talk about topics like social media, organization, etc. & 2 hands on workshops where people teach us a new craft or skill like crochet hook personalizing or macrame.
Where does the event take place?
The location changes every time!
Currently only hosting Retreats within the USA.
The first Retreat was held in Michigan in March, 2019.

There are two types of tickets.

You can donate anywhere between 5-40 items.
If you make something that you want to donate, please email me at themakersretreat@gmail.com
Items we have had in the bags before that we love are:
